Newseum: Daily Newspaper Front Pages from around the World

Newseum, the world’s most interactive museum, released a cool new web app several months ago that displays the front pages of daily newspapers throughout the world in their original, unedited form.

NewseumWith an easy to use interface, users can browser through a gallery of available papers or scroll over an interactive map to view snapshots of current front pages for each paper. Though the count varies daily, Newseum records on average more than 700 different newspapers from nearly 70 different countries.

The Newseum also keeps an archive of national and international front pages that chronicle events of historical significance such as the recent presidential election and the 2008 Olympic Games.

Chegg: The Netflix of online textbook rentals

CheggRecently featured in the New York Times, Chegg has been quietly helping students on more than 6,000 campuses across the country save millions of dollars on textbooks through their revolutionary rental service.

Called the Netflix for textbooks, Chegg rents its textbooks for a fraction of the cost of new books and provides free return shipping to the user when the semester is over. Savings are estimated to be between 65-85% if the books are returned in satisfactory condition.

For those looking to sell their used books, Chegg purchases titles in good condition with complimentary UPS shipping to their facility.
